I've used SankeyMATIC for EnergyPlus' End Uses table. It's a quick way to get a diagram without using a data visualization library, e.g. D3.js or Python. I used a spreadsheet with the End Uses table pasted in to create the format required by SankeyMATIC.

Project Stasio had one winning entry in 2018 that dealt with Sankey diagrams for EnergyPlus: https://projectstasio.com/2017-10-31-...

I found the code on Github (never used it myself): https://github.com/alyabdelalim/Sanke...

There is also article "EEBHub Building 101 Sankey Diagram Energy Analysis" by Singer, S; Simon, A J, from 2013, that has Sankey diagrams for E+. Haven't read the article, but you can find the info https://energyplus.net/node/4576
