I am trying to model a ground source heat pump in a house, but I cannot find a good existing example. I am using the GroundHeatExchanger:Vertical on the supply side of the plant loop and I would like to use a water-to-air heat pump for the HVAC equipment, but OpenStudio does not allow them in the demand side of the plant loop. I've tried every combination of water to air heat pump coils and templates I can think of. I am using this model to validate a measure that is pulling the specs of the the ground source heat pump. So I need to get COP and capacity, even if its just an estimate. If someone could direct me to an example OSM file or the appropriate approach to model this system, I would be greatly appreciative.

Have you tried the GSHP measures on the BCL as examples? https://bcl.nrel.gov/search/site/gshp...

I have not. I was trying to model it within OS without needing to add a measure. But if that is the only way to do it, then I will try them out. Thanks.

You could apply one of the measures to your model as a template to see how it's configured, then manually create the GSHP system in your model.
