Thermostat Schedule in eQuest
Hello, everyone! I have come across one problem with the setting of the thermostat schedule in eQuest. It seems that for the unoccupied hours during the cooling season, eQuest uses the heating setpoint instead of the cooling setpoint.
I was doing a simulation of a high-rise residential building in Shanghai. My eQuest version is "version 3.65, build 7173".
For example, the cooling setpoint during occupied hours is 78.8F(26°C), and during unoccupied hours is 98.6F(37°C); the heating setpoint during occupied hours in heating season is 68F(20°C), and during unoccupied hours is 50F(10°C). When I check the "current hour zone thermostat setting" of a thermal zone (e.g., living room or bedroom), the thermostat setting is 50F during the unoccupied hours in the cooling season.
