I just want to have 4 different exterior walls for an office building. and by different, I mean different thermal properties for each wall. For make it more clear, I want to use some layers including PCM for southern face wall, while also different layers for the northern face. Is that possible through manipulating the IDF file?

Yes. You only need to assign for each Surface the appropriate construction.

Thanks for your reply, but I only have 1 exterior wall object in my IDF file. How can I define north, south, east, and west face in that one object?

could you please bring some example from an IDF file which has defined different faces for its exterior walls?

Ceate a new Construction object and apply it to the proper Detailed Building Surface objects. This is a quite easy operation. Yuo need to define the Material objects you need too. Start exploring some exemple file.
