Good afternoon, I am simulating a Data center conditioning in energy plus, that consists basically in a water cooling coil and a heating electric coil. The timestep simulated is a minute and the problem i found is that the wetted area, or cooling coil outlet temperature varies abruptly from one time step to another. As an example the wetted surface varies from 0.0098 to 0.83 leading to temperature outlet temperature variation from 25.8 to 13.5. This seems unreallistic, is it posible to smooth these transitinos? image description image description Thank you

@Agustin could you add screenshots or other images to your post to help explain what you are seeing with the cooling coil outlet temperature and wetted area of the water cooling coil?

@Agustin this behavior could happen during periods where the cooling load is much lower than what the chilled water coil was designed to meet. The best way for others to help you and explain what's happening is if you can share the input files (IDF, EPW, etc.) used by EnergyPlus using Dropbox, Google Drive, or another file hosting service.
