I need to save in Open Studio, or export, in an older version. It can?

OpenStudio is not forward-compatible (you can't use v2.9 to open an OSM from a newer version like v3.0). It is backward-compatible (you CAN use v2.9 to open an OSM from an older version like v2.8). Here is another post on the topic. Does that answer your question?
