Hopefully someone can answer my question. In design Builder, when running a simulation to show hours of discomfort, the result for the different zones is the same as the average for the building, even though the air temperature and relative humidity vary from zone to zone. Have I made any wrong settings for this to happen? I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Yes, there is variation in temperature and humidity. The average temperature, humidity and hours of discomfort at the building level is 26.6 ºC, 76.3% and 60 hours of discomfort (all clothes) respectively. For the bedroom to the north, these values are: 28.3 ºC, 68.2% and 60 hours of discomfort (all clothes). For other zones, the constant in all zones is 60 hours discomfortimage description. image description

What output table or chart are you looking at? You should have enough karma points to add an image (preferably a screenshot) to help us provide a better answer.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I'm seeing the simulation result for a week, in the Temperature, Humidity and Comfort box. I have selected Comfort and Run period. At the building level it shows me 60 hours of discomfort and when navigating through the different zones it shows me the same 60 hours of discomfort. It does not seems to be correct, does not it?

It may not be likely, but possible for all zones to have the same hours of discomfort in one week depending upon what comfort output you are analyzing (more likely for the ASHRAE Standard 55 comfort metric than more detailed PPD/PMV metrics). The main thing to confirm is that the different zones do have different results for temperature and humidity over the week.

Can you update your post to include images of DesignBuilder screenshots that you are seeing?
