Hi, as seen in the attachment 1, my html energyplus file shows that there are zero cooling in my system even though I have added cooling coil to my air loop. I have tried some other methods that have been found in this forum such as adding heating and cooling thermostat schedule etc and the method show in these url https://unmethours.com/question/37081... but both method does not work for me. Please advice me on this matters. Thank you. This is the link to get my idf file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YUWV...

@davis the Google Drive link to the IDF asks for access, you may need to change the "share" settings so that anyone with the link can access.

@Aaron Boranian, my sincere apologies, I have already rectified it and you should be able to access the file through the google link above

Running your IDF file and error analysis, there are the errors reported.

* Severe * <root>[LifeCycleCost:UsePriceEscalation][LifeCycleCost:UsePriceEscalation 2][resource] - "FuelOil#1" - Failed to match against any enum values. * Severe * <root>[ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][maximum_figures_in_shadow_overlap_calculations] - Value type "string" for input "SutherlandHodgman" not permitted by 'type' constraint. * Severe * <root>[ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][polygon_clipping_algorithm] - "SimpleSkyDiffuseModeling" - Failed to match against any enum values. * Severe * <root>[ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][shading_calculation_method] - "AverageOverDaysInFrequency" - Failed to match against any enum values. * Severe * <root>[ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][shading_calculation_update_frequency_method] - "7" - Failed to match against any enum values.

You may have to redefine these values in the Eplus objects through an IDF editor or delete them through IDF editor or Wordpad, if they are not necessary. It is likely the simulation was never successful and hence you couldn't see any cooling.

Also, I tried to open your IDF file through the editor, I got the following error and could not open (I could run the simulation) the file to check details.

ok noted. I will rectified the errors as stated and will update in this group.

P.S The buildingsurface error is because my geometry have more vertex than what I was given by default from energyplus but I have already managed to increase the number of default vertex in energyplus, so it should be ok but thank you for letting me know this error anyway.

I managed to get the cooling coil to work. Realised that I have to put OS:Sizing:plant loop type to cooling and condensor instead of heating for the evaporator and the condenser of the chiller plant loop repsectively
