Hey guys

i am new to energy simulation and open studio, i am trying to import an IFC file to open studio, but it requires a BIM server, when i checked previous question regarding the import https://unmethours.com/question/28739..., it stated that there exist tutorials in the following link https://nrel.github.io/OpenStudio-use..., but it says page cannot be found, Is the tutorials removed or the page have been reallocated? If somebody can guide me to some documentation or tell me how to set up the BIM server it would be helpful.

Regards

The IFC plugin was built by the BIMDataHub group. The functionality has not been maintained since 2016. I added a link back to the IFC Import Tutorial. However, this may be out of date and no longer working. How much interest is there in supporting IFC Import to OpenStudio? What workflows would this enable?

Documentation for the OpenStudio application has moved to the OpenStudio Coalition website since NREL doesn't manage the project anymore. It looks like they have a tutorial about importing gbXML, but not IFC.

You can read more information about the changes to OpenStudio maintenance and documentation here and here.
