Openstudio Application 1.0

Has anyone else had issues with the stability of this release? I have installed every version of Openstudio since the beginning but 1.0 crashes almost every run. Wondering if this is just the installation on my machine or if it is that unstable.

In short, yes. Others UnmetHours users have reported issues, such as this.

The OpenStudio Coalition has ported all (OS App v.1.0.0) documented issues to here. This is also where users can review existing and post new issues, relating to the OS Application v1.0.1.

For users who may not have previously posted an issue, the general idea is to provide enough information such that the issue cab be replicated by whomever is assigned to address it. A template describing how to communicate an issue has been attached.

I would recommend installing the OS App v1.0.1, from here.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know that there is still ongoing support for the application. I'll give it a run.

it will crash when you run the simulation if you have the folder open to the files you are working with. Make sure you don't have windows explorer open to the project files.

i frequently use 1.14.0 for my workflow and it has been stable with no issues.mind you i usually use it to set spacetypes, general building information then use energyplus for the actual simulations
