Hi,

Coming from an eQUEST background. I try do have a similar methodology when using TRNSYS. Doing so required to try to organise every the workspace into sub-group (Ex. Cooling, Heating, Infiltration, DHW, etc.)

My question is : Which options are available to allow me to help organise the workspace in TRNSYS and make a model easier to read.

For now I'm using the "Text Object", custom line color and alignment tool. But is there any other tool that I could also use that would help me clean my workspace ?

Thanks,

Alex

There are a few techniques you can use to make the workspace less cluttered:

Assign your components to layers that make sense for their function in the simulation. Then turn layers on and off to look at different parts of your simulation.

Use macros to collect components in logical groups. The macro will then show up as a single component in the project workspace and you can go into the macro to see just those components that are a part of the macro.
