Hello everyone, Hope you are all well and in good health.

I'm wondering how can I change the set-point tolerance in energyplus. I mean by that the minimum or maximum temperature difference between an actual node temperature and the corresponding setpoint before a heating or cooling device would turn on or off. I Imagine it can be increased by an EMS but is there a way we can reduce it ?

May you all be safe in those times Thanks

Hi, As far as I know there is no way to reduce it, because there is no tolerance: this is energyplus starting point. Instead, as you guess, it is possible to increase it, by EMS for sure . I hope this could help,

Regards

Hello, thanks for your reply Yeah that's what I thought at first but for some reason the node SP difference seems not detected around 0.2 C or below.

It could be a convergence temperature/load issue, depending on the equipment involved.
