I uninstalled the old version and installed the new version of the OpenStudio. Then I searched in the installation folder but I couldn't find openstudio.exe! I reinstalled the OS but problem has not solved. Am I missing a point here?! I would appreciate your help.

Since April, the OpenStudio's application development and maintenance are transitioned to third parties. You can find more info here. What you have downloaded is the SDK that doesn't include the application. However, you can still download the applications for OpenStudio (v 1.0.0) and PAT (v 3.0.0), separately from here.

As of May 17, OpenStudio Application development and maintenance has not transitioned to a third party (or parties) YET. It has effectively paused.

Hi, Could you please tell me how to install the PAT application I have read for the latest version does not come up with PAT. I have downloaded it from this link but could not find the instructions to install. This is the link from where I installed PAT.

You can download the application in here. It is called "OpenStudio PAT Release". There is no need to download the SDK unless you are trying to directly access the OS or PAT via other applications.

Am I reading this correctly? The release notes for "OpenStudio Application Release" 1.0.0 is dated July 9th, 2013?

Not sure where you found that date. Here are the latest release notes for April 2020.
