Hi everyone,

I am modelling an industrial case that has only natural ventilation in the design building. I searched in LEED and ASHRAE for some guidance to do the baseline building when the proposed model has only natural ventilation, but i haven't found some clarifying answers. Can anyone help? What is expected to do in baseline buildings when the design building has only natural ventilation?

In ASHRAE 90.1-2010 appendix G you can find the HVAC system for the baseline. The system type for the baseline depends of the use, area and floors of the project. It does not matter whether it is natural or mechanicaly conditioned. image description

Your question was regarding the baseline and the answer from @obuchely is correct. I would like to add a comment regarding the proposed design as follows: Please keep in mind Table G3.1 Section 10 part d requirements for the proposed building: where no cooling system exists or no cooling system has been specified, the cooling system shall be identical to the system modeled in the baseline building design.
