I have been having the same occasionaly. This is then combined with DView showing results from a past run (or so it seems at least). Just restarting OpenStudio and reopening the model did not help.

I had the OpenStudio results set to report in SI units. I have just reopened the tool, reloaded the osm (no measures) and reapplied the OpenStudio reporting measure (this time in IP units) and now everything works again.

So, not sure if this was the issue, but maybe try with IP units instead? (Just switching to them in the current session did not work for me)

Did you add the OpenStudio Results measure under Reporting-QAQC to the Reporting Measure section?

Following my comment, I think I now figured it out. I've been having this issue where after a model run, results will not show up and dview will revert back to old results, or nothing. I just hasd it happen again and even restarting OpenStudio and rerunning did not solve it. SI vs IP, as I mentioned in my comment, also has nothing to do with it.

What I think was the issue: I had a log file from a previous run opened in notepad++. This probably locked the file, preventing OpenStudio to write to it in the new simulation run. Unfortunately, this is not reported. Instead, the simulation appears to complete successfully. Hoewever, no results are being written at all. Not only does that show in the then empty results panel (the original symptom), but with all additional files in the simulation folder removed, it also removes the weather file, the applied measures and additional settings from your saved model.

I hope this helps whomever encounters this.
