Does MLE+ still works with EnergyplusV9-3-0

Hi, I am used to MLE+ - Energyplus 8.x coupling without any trouble. When I come to couple using the last release of energyplus (9-3-0) on a very simple case study (one input/one output) I have the folowing error :

* Severe * ExternalInterface: Error, xml file "variables.cfg" declares variable "myVariableName", * ~~~ * but variable was not found in idf file.

or

Error using mlepDecodePacket (line 37) Error while parsing the packet string: 0RE0421652 -10

=>Does anyone already experienced MLE+ with newest version of energyplus ?

=>As an alternative I could export my .idf as FMU but it seem I couldn't import it in matlab without simulink...
