Hey all,

I'm new to OpenStudio but found an error which is killing my chances at producing a real energy model. When i try to setup a temperature schedule, whether it was from a copy of a temp schedule or creating one new, I get an unhandled exception error as shown in the snip below (nevermind I can't post the snip since i'm new here). It crashes my system. I tried both from an existing open project and also from a blank new project from beginning on opening the software.

My version is stated to be 3.0.0-pre1

Thanks all!

Looks like the Schedules Sub-tab causing App to Crash #57 issue has been fixed in the new _OpenStudio Application v1.0_. Try using a different version of the OpenStudio Application, noting that the App was recently split from the SDK.

  1. Use OpenStudio 2.9, which includes the App, PAT, SDK, etc.
  2. Use OpenStudio Application 1.0, which _does not_ include PAT, SDK, etc.

Thank you I'll try the OpenStudio Application 1.0 and report back if my problem is resolved.
