radiance running on Windows cannot support parallel computing

Why radiance running on Windows platform cannot support parallel computing while radiance running on Unix platform support it?

Parallel operation requires memory sharing, which Windows does not support in the same way as Unix. There are still a few Radiance programs that should run in parallel under Windows without memory sharing, such as rpiece.
