Negative load on cooling coil
Hi, Has anyone ever seen a negative cooling rate show up on a cooling coil for a 4 pipe fan coil system. My space is served by a VAV with HW reheat and has an active chilled beam for process equipment load cooling. The load appears when the space is in cooling mode, but it is showing up as a negative value in the winter and a positive load in the summer. I'm not sure if it has to do with the plant loop supply temperature (this is on a sensible chilled water loop) or if there is a conflict between my VAV system and chilled beam. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
@mhamann Which simulation tool are you using? What output from the tool is showing negative cooling rate on the 4 pipe fan coil system?
sorry, I'm using Open Studio and I'm looking at the hourly 'cooling Coil total cooling rate' for the fan coil.
