ResStock local idf file generation?

I have been interested in using ResStock as a potential alternative to the old PNNL Residential Prototype Building Models. Reading over the documentation and code however I am not exactly sure if it is the right tool to generate some (50-150) residential building models that would cover various HVAC systems, locations, envelopes. My intuition it would be to run the measures locally but am unsure if that is true or how best I would go about it?

For modeling many buildings, here is also a related conversation, although in this topic all those models are fed into a dynamic system for RL https://unmethours.com/question/42658.... So it'sonly slightly related and hence i did not put it into a reply, and done comment accordingly. So Cheers.

Yes, it can do that. Probably easiest to run via the PAT workflow on AWS and download the idfs, rather than trying to run the measures locally.
