The simulation in open studio works but I get the same "severe" message for all my thermal zones. My building is large and contains a lot of thermal mass. During the simulation there was no internal load present and also no HVAC (with HVAC and with internal loads I get the same "severe" message).

Is this bad? And how can this be solved?

If you're using the OpenStudio application, you can go to the Simulation Settings tab, expand Simulation Control, and increase the "Maximum Number Of Warmup Days" above the default of 25.

If that doesn't help, there are also inputs for "Temperature Convergence Tolerance Value" and "Loads Convergence Tolerance Values" that could be changed as a fallback.

Thank you for the quick response. If I increase the value to 40, the problem is solved.

With how much can you raise it?
