Hello, I am a student and I want to learn how to use TRNSYS. I downloaded the demo version. I wanted to know if it contains the whole package or is it missing some important functions such as the different libraries. Thank you.

The demo version of TRNSYS contains all of the standard package components. It is restricted some in its functionality. You can create any simulation that uses up to 5 different components. If you want to create a building simulation, the building description can only have up to 2 thermal zones. The demo version contains several examples that can be run. You can change the parameters of the components to see the effect on the performance of the system. Also the mathematical descriptions of the components and the source code are not included.
