Hello, OS users!

After a long time, I returned to my studies with OpenStudio.

I downloaded version 2.9.1 and installed it. However, I am unable to access FloorPlan through the Geometry tab. I downloaded the previous version, 2.3.0, which was used in the book. Even so, I couldn't make FloorPlan open.

I am using Windows 10 and Java in build version 1.8.0_231-b11.

Has anyone been through this situation that can help me?

Congratulations!

Paulo Roberto.

@pauloprln just to confirm, are you having problems starting a new floor plan in 2.9.1, or are you having problems opening a floor plan made in 2.3.0 in OpenStudio 2.9.1? What happens if you try to open the FloorspaceJS file on this development web deployment?

When you are having a problem with the floor plan in the application are you seeing a crash, it just not finding the plan, or is it trying to load but just doesn't finish?

Hello, David!

The problem is just starting a new floor plan in 2.9.1. Simply, it doesn't open the FloorPlan editor.

I am starting from scratch studies with Building Energy Modeling with OpenStudio, because I had already started and stopped. Hence I also installed version 2.3.0, to see if it was a bug in 2.9.1, but I couldn't do it anyway.

Clicking the Geometry button displays the Windows standby circle and nothing else. But OpenStudio is not locked. I can access other tabs normally.

I have already opened the web version of FP and it works normally. But I haven't drawn anything on it yet.

Thanks, Shorowit and David!!!

Actually, my laptop has an NVIDA video card. After adjusting it, OpenStudio worked perfectly!

Thank you very much!!!
