I am trying to enclose space 1-1 inside space 1-2 in the geometry tab to represent an office space surrounding another space which would be the core of the building (elevator shaft, stairs etc.). The warning "Operation cancelled - no holes" comes up and won't let me enclose the space, is there a way to do this?

Assuming you are using the geometry editor tab to access FloorSpaceJS you would have to do something like what is shown below. Space 1-1 and 1-2 could be then assigned to a single thermal zone.

won't this create an issue with non-convex zones?
