How to model a system in E+ in which solar collectors can be used to charge TES unit (Water Tank) i.e Thermal Energy Storage Unit?
Hi! I am new to Energy Plus modeling. I want to model a system in which the solar collector during the day time is used to charge the TES unit (water tank) i.e. Thermal Energy Storage unit. I am working on a model in which the TES unit is connected to a heat pump system that is going to be used for space heating. I want some guidance about how to use different objects of E+ software in order to charge the tank through the solar collector. If anyone has experience in this then please share your ideas. Thank you
You should look into this example files 'HPAirToAir_wSolarCollectorHWCoil.idf' to get started with. This helped me a lot me in past.
