Window heat addition

I would like to compare some results from different models including window heat addition (WHA) and I wonder what exactly is WHA. Is this only directly transmitted solar energy through the glazing (primary transmittance) or is the energy absorbed by the glazing and subsequently transferred inwards by convection and radiation (secondary transmittance) also included in it?

What software or report are you referring to? Are you referring to the sensible heat gain summary here? -

I'm not sure of the answer, but perhaps the window heat balance calc methodology might help answer your question. Maybe someone else will be able to provide a clear answer if you can't find it in there.
