Dear Community,

Is there any possibility to import a schedule into E+ that contains short time intervals like 15 minutes?

Regards Amir

As far as I'm aware, every type of EnergyPlus schedule can handle sub-hourly data. If you're wanting to import a schedule from elsewhere, you might consider using the Schedule:File object, which has a Minutes per Item field. It allows you to create your schedule in a CSV file, for example.

Thank you @shorowit,

Then in this case, the time step of the schedule and simulation settings should be the same, Right?

Don't have to, look at Field: Interpolate to Timestep

If you are using OpenStudio to generate an EnergyPlus file, the Add Interval Schedule From File measure on BCL does this.

Thanks for your suggestion,

No I am planning to import schedules into E+ by other interfaces such as Radiance or Daysim to control them through EMS..
