Hello everyone,

My window has two pieces of glass. There are different xml file between them. I want to repeated using V matrix for each glass to perform dynamic daylight simulation, then images are added or illuminance values are added. But for each v matrix, link text, in page 105, why is the size of the hole of a wall equal to the size of the overall window instead of a single piece of glass in room.rad file when the V matrix is reused? When the simulation is performed separately, the place where there is glass is now gone, will not affect the accuracy of the results?

V matrix for illuminance I use -ab 10 , but for images I use -ab 4 .When I use -ab 10 for images it takes a long time to run. What other parameters do I need to set for V matrix and D matrix?

Thank you very much.

Can you provide more information on why you are dividing the glass into 5 pieces? What are you trying to accomplish with your simulation?

I don't think anybody uses -ab 1024 for view matrix simulations. typical settings are: -ab 10 -ad 65536 -lw 1.52e-05

-ab 1024 would give you a super thorough review of where all the light is coming from -- after a very, very, very, very, very long time.
