eQuest Users,

I started a simple box model in Build 7175 with DoE 2.3 selected and switched the HVAC system to PTHP (all in wizard mode) and got "Illegal Codeword" errors for each system and "terminal type=undefined" for each thermal zone.

All errors go away when I switch back to PSZ heat pump.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

I'm not 100% positive, but the PTAC SYSTEM:TYPE in not available anymore in DOE-2.3. This system was used by the Wizard to create PTHPs in earlier version of eQUEST. That being said, you can model a PTHP system type using a PSZ or PVVT system you just need to adjut your inputs int the detailed mode.

Thanks for the tip. I agree that PSZ would work fine, just noting that there are systems still in the wizard that will not run in the new version.
