Reproduction of autosized simulation: Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water
I am working on a real-time simulation (for residential systems in Europe). Therefore, I don't want to always run autosizing.
So, I try to reproduce the results from an autosized simulation. Here you can find the eplus files.
Files called autosize belong to my reference simulation which I like to reproduce.
Files called manual sizing belong to an example in which I failed to reproduce the results.
There are some autosized variables which I am not sure where to find them:
- ZoneHVAC:Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water Heating Design Capacity
- Sizing:System Design Outdoor Air Flow Rate
- Sizing:System Cooling Design Capacity
- Sizing:System Heating Design Capacity
- WaterHeater:Mixed Source Side Design Flow Rate (this variable seems to be not used)
In my example, I tried to use the CapacityPerFloorArea instead of the Heating Design Capacity method for the baseboard. I also tried other iterations to no avail.
There seems to be a bug in the autosizing reporting for baseboards. U-Factor times Area is reported, but no Heating Design Capacity.
Does anybody has an advice? BTW, I am not an expert in e+ and thus general comments on the idf are welcome.
