Baseline HVAC system [closed]

Table G3.1.1A states that if your source is electric (proposed) you have to chose one option in the last column, therefore system 2, 4, 6 or 8 depending on the number of floors, the building type and the area. In your case I would say the you have to use System 6 for you baseline model since you have 5 floors.

only exception might be if using 90.1-2016 Appendix G which is based on climate zone (3b = fossil fuel = Systems 3/5/7/9). Question isnt specific. But agree otherwise. All Electric = Systems 4/6/8/10)

90.1-2013 Appendix G is also based on climate zone, so like 90.1-2016, climate zone 3b would be fossil fuel so system would be 5.

Yes you are right, my answer was related to the 90.1-2007 that (if I'm not wrong) do not contain any exception based on climate zone.
