Hello, I'm using kiva foundation model for determining ground heat transfer in E+. I'm setting the floor's inside convection coefficient value in SurfaceProperty:ConvectionCoefficient object. However, I noticed that the simulation is not using this value I set. Does this have something to do with Kiva foundation model? Thank you

Perhaps this is related to https://github.com/NREL/EnergyPlus/pu..., which was implemented for E+ v9.1?

What version of EnergyPlus are you using?

As @shorowit suggests, user-defined convection coefficients in Kiva were not possible in EnergyPlus prior to version 9.1. Previous to 9.1, the convection coefficient was always set using Kiva's internal convection algorithm (consistent with EnergyPlus default algorithms for interior and exterior). In version 9.1 and later you can set the convection algorithm (or coefficient value) the same way you would any other surface.

Hi! Thanks for the answer, that's my problem then. I'm using version 8.7 because I'm modelling the geometry with Euclid extension for SketchUp. As far as I know Euclid extension is updated for E+ 8.7 but not for 9.1 version isn't it?
