Hi all,

I am trying to model a walk-in freezer (including three thermal zones) in Open Studio 2.8.0, and I set up a refrigeration system which works with NH3. My problem is that in the thermal zone tab, I cannot find any related zone equipment to select. So far, I know that in energy plus it should be under RefrigerationChillerSet. However, there is no such measure in my library in Open Studio. Did anyone had this problem before?

Thanks

Openstudio is good for 3D modeling and some standard HVAC equipment simulation.

For advanced HVAC or refrigeration systems, you need to go to the EnergyPlus itself.

As for the refrigeration system, there is specific category in EnergyPlus called Refrigeration. Your wallin frezzer can be defined by Refrigeration:Case object.
