parametric study of infiltration rate
Hi ,
I wanted to do sensitivity analysis for various parameters one of the parameter is the infiltration rates. I tried varying the infiltration rates but the results seems unchanged.
I was using jEplus for parametric runs.
Have you confirmed that you thermal zones are being conditioned? If not then you may be effecting zone temperatures, but not energy use. Another possible issue is if the range you have represents a very small delta, you might not see noticeable changes. Once you confirm the zones are conditioned, update your post with some of the infiltration values you are using.
Yes the zones are conditioned . The range i defined is 0.2 - 0.8 ACH. I should see some cooling load changes.
Actually i defined the zone infiltration rates as a parameter .
Is it possible you are using ideal air loads for conditioning and looking at results for electricity?
