I am doing an assignment where the base model is provided. To achieve thermal comfort throughout the year, I was given temperature and relative humidity condition as mentioned in the question.

In the absence of knowing the details of your base model, you have to set up a heating, air-conditioning and ventilation system (HVAC) that can provide both heating and cooling as well as humidification and dehumidification. This HVAC system then has to be set up with the appropriate controllers.

To verify your model, define the space temperature and humidity output variables. You can examine the sample idf input files that are included with EnergyPlus - the simulation engine that OpenStudio uses to perform the simulation. Examining these files will give you some insight on the available HVAC systems and controls that can accomplish your goal.

You can examine these files with the IDF Editor utility within EPLaunch that is installed with EnergyPlus. Read the support documentation with EnergyPlus to discover how to do this. This will help you select the appropriate objects within OpenStudio. Do note that not all features within the EnergyPlus simulation engine are available through the OpenStudio interface.
