How define exterior pavement?

I'm working with EnergyPlus + Open Studio, i would like to know the thermal impact in indoor spaces for different materials on exterior area, for instance the difference between concrete pavement and grass. But i don't know how i should put this input.. any suggestion about it?

If you are using the Kiva model, you can try using the fields in Foundation:Kiva:Settings such as Ground Solar Absorptivity, soil conductivity, soil density, and soil specific heat to make rough changes. If you really want to model pavement separately, you could do that with Foundation:Kiva object and define a custom block which consists of a material name, depth, and x and z positions. Make sure you review the engineering reference section on Kiva.

The Foundation: Kiva, i understand is for foundation area? that is a good recommendation for adjust my foundation, but i really want to diferenciate with different materials the courtyard area of the house, that isn't a house foundation. These is also possible with Kiva?
