Hi Guys, I am so new to building Energy simulation. So Sorry If i am asking a stupid question. I am analyzing a building Energy need regarding its geometry and Envelope in open studio....In this case I have used the ideal air load oprion for my conditioned spaces. For calculating the heating and cooling load, should I contain design days in my model or not? As i have read, design days are important for HVAC sizing simulation...So as I have not this aim and in Ideal air load mode , Is it necessary to define design day in the model? Thanks

design days are not necessary for running an initial situation with ideal air loads. Generally just need weather file defined, zones with surfaces and constructions, and thermostats.
