Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to replace VRF autosized outdoor and indoor units in OpenStudio with units from de BCL components library, without the need to recreate the system or have to input all the performance data manually.

Thanks Arturo

In addition to constructions the OpenStudio Application also allows you to import VRF indoor and outdoor units from the Building Component Library. That functionality is described here. After downloading the components you will see them in the your local library from the OS application. You can drag newly downloaded terminals into an existing system. Generally VRF GUI interface is described on this YouTube video.

Thanks @David Goldwasser,

I previously generated an OSM file from ladybugtools of a 7 story office building, including two auto-sized vrf systems per floor (two outdoor units per floor, each serving around half the thermal zones of the said floor). Now I have the specific models of Outdoor and Indoor LG units (which are in the BCL library). What I would like to know is, if it is possible to replace the auto-sized units with the specific LG components?. So I don´t have to rework the file I already have.
