Appendix C in the CBECC-Res Alternative Calculation Manual (Page 130-133 here) details how Lighting and Appliance end-uses are supposed to be calculated in both standard and proposed models. I'm interested in seeing these in the outputs for single family prototypes.

I'm looking at an example software validation workbook (from here) just for the purpose of looking at CBECC End-use annual energy consumption outputs for a few single-family prototypes.

I have a small collection of closely related questions:

1.) What goes into the reported end-uses Ins Light, Appl & Cook, Plug Lds and Exterior that isn't an End-Use captured in the appendix descriptions?

2.) Where is the source of truth for logic in making the calculation for these components? I see .rule files in the CBECC-res codebase that to some extent overlap with logic in appendix C, but I'm not sure that's all of it.

3.) (kind of related to 1) are their interactive appliance effects handled by CSE or CBECC explicitly that alter the end-use values we see beyond what is detailed by the appendix?
