i want to know the thermal gain and loss of an unconditioned building. is it possible to know the building heat gain and loss amount through energyplus?

i want to design a passive heating system for a rural building. now i want to know the thermal gain and loss amount of the building. if it is possible to know the building heat gain and loss through energyplus then please let me know what are the i/o objects i have to use to simulate the building.

You could build up a model and assign ideal loads systems to each zone. This would tell you the heating and cooling loads associated with the indoor conditions you specify.
