ASHRAE 90.1 App-G requires the fan to cycle with occupancy to insure the delivery of outside air when the space is occupied. I am trying to model this in OpenStudio for PTAC units by using the occupancy schedule for “Supply Air Fan Operating Mode Schedule Name”, is this the right way to model it?

Thank you,

I guess you will need to use a CO2 sensor and then schedule the PTAC availability with this kind o measurement of the space.

Not sure if it works with a PTAC
