Hello,

I´m simulating a thermal zone (25ºC for cooling thermostat schedule) with:

  • mechanical ventilation + heat recovery system image description
  • fan-coils with a electric chiller. image description

I´m realized those fact:

Step 1: Thermal zone with mechanical ventilation off. No problem, the fan coils set the indoor temperature at 25ºC. image description

Step 2: Thermal zone with mechanical ventilation on. The fan coils don’t reach the 25ºC. image description

Step 3: Increasing the chiller from 50kW to 500kW. Nothing, moreover, it doesn’t change the graphic. image description

Step 4: Increasing the cooling sizing parameters (up to 20) and setting the chiller as Autosize. Nothing and it doesn´t change the graphic. image description

How can I improve the fan coil in order to cool the mechanical ventilation air?

The only solution that I found was: 1. Reducing the air flow rate to nearly zero. 2. Adding a cooling battery in the mechanical ventilation system. image description

But the project hasn´t got those elements.

Thanks

Solved!

I introduced the fan coils and the mechanical ventilation terminals wrongly. I introduced first the fan coils and then the terminals.
