Hi,

My team and I are working a project together on OpenStudio, but I'm unable to save, import, OR export my .osm file even though I have been able to before. The model was built with Floor Java Script and Sketchup, but I don't think that would be an issue for saving the file.

Any leads on this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide a little more detail on what behavior you are seeing. It sounds like you made initial model in OpenStudio Application geometry tab with FloorSpaceJS. Were you able to view geometry there in 3d, and did you see the spaces in he Spaces tab? I'm trying to see if you merged the 2d plan work into the model. If that is the case. Is this specific issue about opening the OSM in the Application or the SketchUp Plugin? What behavior are you seeing when you try to open it. Is it crashing the application, saying model is invalid, or is it opening, but just looks empty?

Yes, we created the geometry with FloorSpaceJS and were able to view the geometry. The .osm file opens and we can use the editor to see our model and so on, but from time to time the option to save is unavailable. However, once we restarted OpenStudio and the laptop, the save option was available. I'm thinking it might be because of the shear size of our project along with software bugs.

Thanks for looking into this!
