how and where to specify outdoor air in OS?

Hello everyone,

I am working on an energy model that has 50% of fresh air and 50% for return air. I changed the input from 1 to 0.5 under OS:Sizing: System - Minimum System Air Flow Ratio, but not sure if that reduced the OA % to 0.5.

Here are my questions- - How and were to specify % OA in Open studio? - Which report should I check to see if the changes have been applied?

I cannot think of any other options to vary the outdoor air %. For your second question, you could look at "Air system Outdoor Air Flow fraction" in other output variables tab to verify your inputs.

@akr thanks for your reply. I did check the engineering checks for cooling in 'Air Loop Summary report', it shows only 12-13% even though I enter 0.5 under "OS:Sizing: System - Minimum System Air Flow Ratio" Is that correct or which other reports can I check? Thanks

Check under OS:Controller:OutdoorAir where there is option to assign based on schedule. I haven't done this yet, so I'm only guessing the possible solution per my knowledge.
