Hello everyone,

I was using the 'Create Baseline Building' measure from BCL for one of the projects I am working with. The measure was applied successfully with a bunch of warning messages. I was even able to run the simulation successfully. My understanding of this measure was that it will replace all the proposed inputs with 90.1 2010 inputs. I do see that in the HTML report, but don't see that in the individual tabs. How do I know if the measure is applied correctly?

Also, the measure says 90.1 2010 BETA. Is this still under testing?

One of the warning messages that I had on the file was- ''WARN Could not determine the standards fenestration frame type for Sub Surface 1 from U 0.72 SHGC 0.25 Sgl Ref-B-M Tint 6mm. This surface will not have the standard applied.''- Does that mean the fenestration hasn't been switched?

Thanks

Read the warnings and info messages that show when you run the 'Create Baseline Building' measure.

If there is an error in apply the measure, it will show up. The measure is listed as BETA, because it hasn't been widely tested, and there are some aspects of ASHRAE 90.1-2010 that are not supported including adjusting exterior lighting, fan power allowances for MERV filters, and refrigeration equipment adjustments, among others. The list of issues and what isn't supported is listed in the info messages when you run the measure.

As for the fenestration type error, you need to tell the software what sort of fenestration type to assume when it looks up standard values: image description
