Passivhaus Design with Heat Recovery System

I am Engineering student trying to design a Passivhaus with Openstudio, so I am fairly new to this.

The house I'm designing has four spaces (two upstairs and two downstairs). I have also added an 'Air-to-Air HX' HVAC System as shown below. However, the temperatures during certain months are much higher than my target of around 22 degrees. Therefore, I am wondering how to make this more efficient? Have thought about bypassing the heat recovery upstairs in the warmer months but I'm not sure how using the software?

Any help or other suggestions would be much appreciated.
