I created my model, saved both the .skp and .osm files, and then closed Sketchup. Opening up Sketchup, and I load the .skp, my model is there. But I get the dialog box telling me Sketchup is going to remove the OS content and to load my .associated .osm file. When I do this my model is a wireframe model. How do I fix this? I'm using Sketchup 2018 & OpenStudio 2.7.0.

Sketch up 2018 wan't compatible with openstudio 2.7.0 for me...I installed the sketch up 2017 again and it got solved. Did you do it with sketch up 2017?

See my comment on this post about just opening OSM model and not the SKP.

Okay. During the trial period I went back to 2017. But then when I purchased, I purchased 2018 and now back to having this problem again. Should I see if I can get a 2017 license or is there a resolution or work-around for 2018?

2017 or 2018 should be fine. In either case launch SkechUp without the skp file, then open your ism.

Opening just the .osm file works but I lose my layers.
