I have an IDF file of version 6.0 How to convert this IDF to the latest energy plus version

I am using a graphical user interface called Smart-Energy to generate IDF files,but when i use this IDf file in latest Energyplus version it does not work.can we convert this old version of IDF to the latest acceptable Energy-Plus version? I found a tool which can convert a file of version 7.0 or more to the latest version but not getting anything for version 6.0

To update early versions of EnergyPlus files to more recent versions, you can download the transition files from the helpdesk.
