Degenerate surfaces in EnergyPlus
Hi,
There is one severe error "GetSurfaceData: There are 1 degenerate surfaces; Degenerate surfaces are those with number of sides < 3" in my EnergyPlus Output Errors file.
However I took a look at the Text file and there was no surfaces with less than 4 vertices.
I also tried using Output:Diagnostics,DisplayExtraWarnings to find the surface, but the surface name doesn't come up in the error file.
The degenerate surface is often causing my simulation to crash.
I was wondering how I could resolve the issue.

I went through the post. I have already deleted the degenerate surfaces, the one with less than 3 vertices in the IDF Text File. I will not be able to use the script mentioned in the post since I am not using OpenStudio.
I was wondering how I could locate the one degenerate surface since it does not appear in the text file, and delete it. Or if it would be possible to change the precision of the vertices like it is mentioned in the post.
