Group Simulation stops in between
I am trying to run energyplus group simulation. It processed first 200-300 simulations then stops. It I still showing “simulation in progress” but there are no simulation window running at all.
Does it always stop at the same place? Are there any clues in the errgrp file?
I am unable to notice any pattern so far. I have more than 10000 simulations to run. I created a group simulation file and put it for run on server with 16 cores and running 16 simulations at a time. It sometimes complete 200, 230 and so on. The errgp file looks quite normal. There are no severe error, only some warnings of unused objects. To continue the simulation from where it stops, I remove the lines from group simulation file manually and run it again, so next time it starts with the new files. But the whole process need to be done again within few hours.

It should not be happening. Unfortunately, it is the type of problem that is difficult to diagnose and debug.
@manavmahan Did you ever encounter the issue in this post https://unmethours.com/question/28944... They sound very similar, but the other post specifies the group simulation is interrupted by premature "EnergyPlus Run Status" windows and the group simulations continue after pressing the OK button, unlike yours which just stop.
